PERI-MENAPAUSAL & POST MENAPAUSE

50 % of the world WILL go through menopause This does not need  to be a negative change  but rather a metamorphosis into a different stage of life where women apparently give less   ****´s and are happier because we know exactly what we want.

We should look forward and embrace each decade of change with regard to our bodies and brains - BUT  we do need to do everything within our power to ensure our continual upgrades are done with the least side effects 

Engaging in :

Resistance Training 

Cardiovascular Training 

Interval Training 

Keeping our Nutrition in balance to Nourish the brain with antioxidants and omega 3´s and maintain positive cholesterol and blood pressure reducing risks of developing Alzheimer's later on

After menopause women are at risk of increased osteoporosis risk , higher cholesterol , higher blood pressure, increased fat gain around the middle - the classic pear shape and 4 times more likely to have dementia than men if they do not exercise
